Chalmers, David

David Chalmers' website

David Chalmers is a philosopher at the Australian National University. Officially, he is Distinguished Professor of Philosophy and Director of the Centre for Consciousness. He is also Visiting Professor of Philosophy at New York University. He works in the philosophy of mind and in related areas of philosophy and cognitive science. He is especially interested in consciousness, but is also interested in all sorts of other issues in the philosophy of mind and language, metaphysics and epistemology, and the foundations of cognitive science.

Hard Rain Project

Mark Edwards is an esteemed environmental photographer who co-authored the book "Changing Consciousness: Exploring the Hidden Source of the Social, Political, and Environmental Crises Facing Our World" with David Bohm. More recently, Mark created the Hard Rain Project, a project that aims to seriously address the issues of climate change, poverty, the wasteful use of resources, population expansion, habitat destruction and species loss.

Hiley, Basil

Basil Hiley Ph.D. is currently Emeritus Professor of Physics at Birkbeck University of London. Basil works on a research unit that continues to explore and develop David Bohm's work in physics and science, especially in the areas of quantum mechanics and general relativity. Basil co-authored the book "The Undivided Universe: An Ontological Interpretation of Quantum Theory" with David Bohm; this was the last book David Bohm wrote.

Mendizza, Michael

Michael associated with both Jiddu Krishnamurti and David Bohm and many others in his role as documentary filmmaker and activist.  Michael started the organization "Touch the Future" which focuses on supporting parents to live in a truly intelligent and creative manner that will deeply nourish and support the growth and development of children.  

Peat, F. David

A biography of F. David Peat from his website

F. David Peat is a physicist and author who continues to explore foundational areas in quantum mechanics, general relativity, science, art and culture.  Peat maintained a friendship with Bohm and they co-authored the book "Science, Order, and Creativity".  Peat founded the Pari Center for New Learning which in an interdisciplinary center that explores science, art, culture and spirituality.   

Pylkkanen, Paavo

Paavo Pylkkanen's academic website (not in English)

Paavo received his Ph.D. in theoretical philosophy in 1992. Paavo has focused on the developments in modern physics, especially as elucidated by David Bohm, and their relationship to metaphysics, phenomenology, philosophy of mind and cognitive neuroscience. Paavo authored the book "Mind, Matter, and the Implicate Order" which seriously explores and extends many ideas about mind, matter, order, and consciousness that Bohm contemplated.
